How We Almost Lost the Last Five Minutes of Tiger's Speech
If you were watching Tiger's news conference on Friday, you may have noticed that for nearly all of the final five minutes of the speech, Woods' remarks were broadcast from camera two. Thank God for camera two because the primary camera - the one directly pointed at Woods and the podium - lost power.
CBS was the network with pool cameras for the broadcast. Their first camera lost power. Networks switched immediately to the side camera for the remainder of the speech.
Can you imagine the public reaction if Woods' remarks were not broadcast in full?
