How to Make Your Own Tiger Woods Buddhist Bracelet in 3 Steps
After watching that compelling interview with Tiger Woods conducted by Golf Channel's Kelly Tilghman, millions are going to be converting to Buddhism and sporting the bracelet that Woods showed to Kell.
If you're wondering how to get your hands on what will surely be the fashion accessory of the spring, just follow these two steps:
- Go over to your grandmother's house & find her sewing kit.
- Find some loose yarn and measure it around your hand.
- Cut it & tie it around your wrist.
- Optional: Take off your wedding ring.
Now you're as cool as Tiger! Cheatstrong!

Religious Intolerance
Do you think its funny to mock a minority faith?
Or...
maybe people are mocking Tiger and not Buddhism itself. I haven’t heard the interview.

It’s about mocking Tiger, nothing to do with Buddhism. The faith has a great tradition that’s being used by Woods for PR purposes.

How do you know that Ryan?
How do you know he’s using it for PR purposes? Perhaps he is sincere. His mother is a Buddhist and Tiger was indeed raised with a very strong influence of the religion. It’s not like he just pulled it out the air and just started “using” it. Many times people go to their faith for guidance when they have serious life struggles.

The Buddhism thing seemed contrived to me too
Like he’s reading straight out of the ‘celebrity caught cheating’ playbook. He might be sincere but he’s done little to ingratiate himself to the public thus far, so I’ll wait and see exactly how Buddhist he is a year from now, when things have died down.
Cannot play with 'em, cannot win with 'em, cannot coach with 'em. Cant do it.

I sincerely hope Tiger is not using Buddhism as a PR tool. Everybody in here knows I’m probably his harshest critic. I gotta be honest. I heard/saw a spark from Woods that I never expected. I’ve said since our first meeting that he was a phoney, and yesterday the guy himself “manned up” and admitted “his life was a lie.”. I’ll give him points for that. This interview was so much better than the “love-in”at Sawgrass. He’s either learned to act since Feb18th, or he’s being much more genuine. Time will tell, but I liked what I heard. There was something different about it, just a little more honesty. Gotta respect that. We’ll see if it continues but there is no escaping that this was a HUGE first (errr second) step forward. It would be great for the game ,and his family, if this is as genuine as it seemed. I’ll remain guardedly optimistic, and for me, that’s something I never thought I’d say about TW. We’ll see how it plays out………………………………Z

I’ve always said that when Woods started to act like a “professional”, I’d be the first one to offer kudos. I am a man of my word. He’s only made the first step, in a thousand mile journey but at least he has started. We’ll see how it plays out…………………………Z.
